Sanitation Department Recycling
The Drop-Off Recycling Center is located at 1401 W. 7th Street.
Open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. An attendant is available to assist you on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7:00-12:00.
The following items are collected at the Drop-Off Recycling Center:
- Newspaper and Phonebooks
- Plastic containers #2 only (no single item larger than a 5-gal bucket, no styrofoam, no plastic bags, no drink bottles)
- Aluminum Cans
- Steel Cans
In order to be accepted by our recycler, material must be pure and free of contamination. That means that any trash or mixed recycling items (plastic in the newspaper bin for example) can cause the entire load to be unacceptable for recycling. Please do your part and put the right material in the right bin.
