    SPECIAL CALLED MEETING/ 2024–2025 ACTION PLAN SECOND PUBLIC HEARING

    APRIL 10, 2024 – 3:00 P.M.

     

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Owensboro Citizen’s Advisory Committee for Community Development will hold a Special Called Meeting / Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Owensboro City Hall, 101 East 4th Street, Owensboro, Kentucky 42303 in the Commission Chambers on fourth floor.  City staff will address the preparation of the FY 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan.  The meeting will also be livestreamed on Facebook @CityofOwensboro and www.owensboro.org.

    The purpose of the Special Called Meeting / Public Hearing is to approve minutes; provide information on eligible and ineligible Community Development Block Grant activities and the estimated amount of funds available during the 2024-2025 program year; and host an open forum for public comment concerning housing and community development needs, as well as proposed projects in Owensboro for the 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan and formal recommendation to submit the Plan to the Department of Housing and Urban Development by the Committee. The Plan will be given to the Owensboro Board of Commissioners for approval at a public meeting on May 7, 2024.
