    OWENSBORO BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

    SPECIAL CALLED MEETING

    DECEMBER 12, 2017 - 12:00 P.M.

           

          NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Owensboro Board of Commissioners Work Session scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, 2017 has been cancelled and rescheduled to a Special Called Meeting at 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in the Commission Chambers located on the fourth floor at City Hall, 101 E. 4th Street.

     

    The purpose of the Special Called Meeting is to consider 1st reading of Ordinance 34-2017: “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE I, SECTION 3-8 OF THE OWENSBORO MUNICIPAL CODE TO EXPAND THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON SUNDAY’S UNTIL 2:00 A.M. THE FOLLOWING DAY IN YEARS IN WHICH NEW YEAR’S EVE FALLS ON A SUNDAY; and to hear the following presentations: Winter Storm Exercise Report, LED Lighting, Age Friendly Community and City Project List.
