The Owensboro Black Expo is partnering with the HL Neblett Community Center and the North West Neighborhood Alliance in a series of events for the month February for Black History Month. February 6th will be the kickoff off the events, by presenting a Drive By Parade, such as the Juneteenth Drive By Parade that took place last June. We are inviting the community to come out, decorate their vehicles, and celebrate the kickoff of Black History Month by parading around the west and east end of Owensboro. We welcome all races to celebrate with us this month and encourage all to learn how African American history has impacted us all.
