PAY IT FORWARD CAMPAIGN TO START AUGUST 1

 

The 2017 ‘Give a Hand, Pay it Forward Owensboro’ campaign will begin August 1^st and continue through August 15^th. Commissioner Pamela Smith-Wright started this initiative in Owensboro six years ago.

“It’s something you do for someone else and they never know who did it. It can be as easy as paying for someone else’s food in the checkout, mowing a neighbor’s yard. It’s a simple act of kindness to an anonymous person.”

Commissioner Smith-Wright encourages all Owensboro citizens to participate by ‘paying it forward’ during these two weeks and businesses with a marquee to display the dates.
