Owensboro Parks and Recreation is now accepting registrations for their two amazing Summer Day Camps that will take place May 26-August 8 for ages 5-13 years old. Each camp is open Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Early Morning drop off is available at 6:40 a.m. for $2 extra a day. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are provided at both camps throughout the summer.

Our traditional Summer Day Camp is located at the Owensboro Parks and Recreation Administration Building at 1530 McJohnson Avenue. It is the only day camp in Owensboro accredited by the American Camp Association! During the summer campers will go swimming twice a week, one field trip a week, participate in fun and educational games and activities, and have special visitors throughout the summer that will add to the camp experience . When you register there is a $27 non-refundable registration fee and a weekly fee of $75/whole week or $60/half week (3 days or fewer).

The Edge Summer Day Camp is for children that love to skate! Each morning campers will get time on the ice with a counselor who is educated in figure skating, hockey, or recreational skating to improve campers skills. In the afternoon campers will play fun structured games and activities. Throughout the summer there will be swimming and fieldtrips. When you register for this camp there is a $27 non-refundable registration fee and then a weekly fee of $80/whole week or $65/half week.

Sign your child up before it is too late! This is a great experience that your child will never forget and they will make new friends! The registration deadline is close of business Friday, May 8.
