DOGWOOD AZALEA NEIGHBORHOOD ALLIANCE TO HOST FALL KICKOFF PARTY

 

The Dogwood Azalea Neighborhood Alliance will host a fall kickoff party on Saturday, September 9^th  at Moreland Park from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The event will feature free food, games, and family fun for all.  Representatives from the Owensboro Police and Fire Departments will attend. An unveiling of a new ‘little library’ sponsored by the alliance will take place at 5:00 p.m. All attendees are encouraged to bring a book (new or gently used) to donate to the little library.

 

The Alliance is also looking for new members.  They meet every other month starting in January at 5:30 p.m. at the Edge Ice Center.  Membership is free. The next meeting will be Thursday, September 21^st. The neighborhood extends from Twelfth Street to Booth Avenue, between Frederica to Lewis Lane/Roosevelt Road/Werner Avenue.  For more information about the City of Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance Program, please visit www.owensboro.org.
