OONA Pets in the Park POSTPONED DUE TO EXTREME HEAT

June 28, 2012 - The Old Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance ‘Pets in the Park’ event
scheduled for Saturday, June 30 in Germantown Park HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED DUE TO FORECASTED EXTREME HEAT.  The event is rescheduled for Saturday, July
21 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

 

Bring your pets down for some summer family fun, food and free
activities. The alliance will be collecting cash, pet food or old blankets and
towels for donations to local shelters. SparKY Animal Rescue will be on hand
for pet adoption. The Owensboro Police Department K9 Unit and the Owensboro
Kennel Club will put on animal exhibitions.

 

The
Old Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance includes Frederica Street east to the City limits and
Parrish Avenue (including the JZ Moore neighborhood) north to the Ohio River,
and the alliance meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the
