Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal to a wide range of aircraft. Friday night will be your chance to meet some of the pilots of these aircraft and experience a taste of the Owensboro Air Show. As the sun begins to set, a few performers will take to the sky to entertain the crowds with an evening spectacle of nighttime air show performances. Admission is just $2.00 per person with kids 10 and under FREE. There will be food and drink vendors onsite, so make your plans to head to the airport right after work to enjoy a show never before seen in Owensboro.

1:00 pm - approximately 3:30 pm All eyes will be on the skies over the Ohio River in downtown Owensboro as performers showcase vintage warbirds, military jet, and aerobatic demostrations.

Cruise In to downtown Owensboro the 4th Saturday each month for a great evening of music and classic cars. More than 150 classic cars regularly on display. Enjoy some great food specials from the merchants downtown and experience the revitalized downtown atmosphere with other classic car enthusiasts each month.

Learn the basics of the ancient art of Tae Kwon Do while improving your mind and body in this unique program. This is a great opportunity for children to improve their coordination and motor skills in an energetic, fun atmosphere. This program will help your child develop flexibility, stamina, motor skills, strength, energy, self-confidence, and balance. Classes are once per week for six weeks.

The objectives of the program are:

• Encourage individuals to skate for FUN!
• To teach correct technique of the basic elements.
• To promote health and physical fitness.
• To enable all participants to achieve the skills necessary to either skate for fun the rest of their lives or to provide opportunities to compete in various skating competitions.
• Learn to Skate…Hockey; Wednesdays only.

First annual run fundraising event for St. Luke Foundation for Haiti. The St. Luke Foundation for Haiti is a 100% haitian-run non-profit organization, providing education, medical care and dignified humanitarian outreach in places that have been under-served by traditional service providers. 100% of donations go straight to the programs in Haiti. So come out and be someone's hero! Super Hero Attire Welcome! Prizes awarded for Best Overall Female and Male finishers.

OMU TO HOST 5K POWER RUN / WALK OMU will once agina host its annual 5K power Run / Walk. The evnet begins and ends at OMU's Customer Service center at 2070 Tamarack Rd. The run offers a flat, fast course and is ideal for both runner and walkers. Registration receive a quality shirt, door prize entry and eligibility for awards to be given away following the race. On the day of the event, runners and walkers can pick up their packets and register from 6:30am until 7am. the Race will begin at 7:30am.

The Family-friendly Halloween Event returns to downtown Owensboro for an evening of trick-or-treating, character appearances by your favorite minions, and a special photo opportunity with Anna and Elsa. Bring the whole family downtown for a night to kick-off the Halloween festivities!
