The Walk for life is an educational fundraiser to help raise awareness of the

sanctity of life from fertilization to natural death.

The East Bridge Art & Music Festival will be celebrating its 7th year in 2017! This 2-day festival features over 70 tri-state artists, live music, kids activities, local gourmet street food, chalk contest and more! Join us at Smothers Park on Veterans Blvd on Friday from 1-8pm in conjunction with Friday After 5, and Saturday from 10am-5pm.

UPDATE: due to weather, Friday's activities have been cancelled. The festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 2 from 10am-5pm.

Friday

Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal to a wide range of aircraft. Friday will be your chance to meet some of the pilots of these aircraft and experience a taste of the Owensboro Air Show. As the sun begins to set, a few performers will take to the sky to entertain the crowds with an evening spectacle of nighttime air show performances followed by fireworks to conclude the night.

Admission is just $2.00 per person and kids 10 and under FREE. There will be food and drink vendors onsite, so make your plans to head to the airport right after work to enjoy a show never before seen in Owensboro.

Saturday & Sunday

All eyes will be on the skies over the Ohio River in downtown Owensboro as performers showcase vintage warbirds, aerobatic demonstrations, and military jets such as the Air Force F-16 Viper Demo and the Navy F-18 Hornet Demo!
