    Friday After 5 is a summer-long series of free outdoor concerts held every Friday on the eight block, stunningly beautiful Owensboro, Kentucky riverfront.

    Friday After 5 began in 1996 with four concerts and grew into a 16-week signature festival for the entire tri-state area hosting more than 50,000 visitors each season on the riverfront every Friday After 5. It’s Where the Weekend Begins!

    Location:  From RiverPark Center through Smothers Park  to the Owensboro Convention Center downtown on the Owensboro Riverfront on the Ohio River.

    Friday After 5k is a 5K Road Run to benefit the KWC Cross Country/Track & Field
    program. The race will start and end at Veteran's Blvd and St. Ann Street and
    have online applications available to enter. T-shirts will be offered through preregistration
    and medals awarded by age-groups. The course will be the same as the
    previous three years - basically an out & back heading west onto First St and
    utilizing the English Park/Fields Packing area streets before heading back down
    First Street to the Riverfront finish line.
