The Little Preds Learn to Play program is a multi-week class focused on the fundamentals of ice hockey. Nashville Predators Alumni will be on hand at many of the sessions to coach. Each participant in the Little Preds Learn to Play Program will receive their own head-to-toe set of NHL branded CCM hockey equipment thanks to the combined efforts of the Nashville Predators, CCM and Perani's Hockey World.

Participants must have completed a Learn to Skate program at a local rink before signing up for the Little Preds Learn to Play Program.

      NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Owensboro Board of Commissioners Work Session scheduled for Tuesday, March 13, 2018 has been cancelled and rescheduled to a Special Called Meeting at 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in the Commission Chambers located on the fourth floor at City Hall, 101 E. 4^th Street.

Ten City of Owensboro Neighborhood Alliances will host neighborhood cleanups this year.  The cleanups will take place from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.  All residents in the cleanup areas are encouraged to help beautify the neighborhood by picking up litter along sidewalks and streets on their cleanup day. To see the boundaries for your neighborhood alliance, visit www.owensboro.org.

The Sanitation Department will provide free curbside pickup for junk furniture, appliances and other items to its residential customers in this neighborhood alliance area.  Items must be left at the curb by the Friday night prior to the day of the cleanup.  If you have large items to set out, please call the City Action Line at 270-687-4444 or e-mail cityaction@owensboro.org BY THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE CLEANUP.  Smaller items must be bagged or boxed.  The sanitation crews CANNOT pick up construction debris/materials, yard waste, dirt, paint, or any type of liquid.

A demo bike ride event brought to you by Legends and Giant Bikes. Come out to the Rudy Mines Trails at Ben Hawes Park and ride different bikes throughout the day.
